ACE NETWORK’S GREATEST SOURCE OF STRENGTH: Growing Roster of Members and Partners
ACE is a growing network of individuals and organizations committed to working together to improve career education and development for all young Albertans. Together, the members and partners of the network will work to build a stronger career development culture throughout the province and beyond.
The Alberta Career Education Network (formerly known as Alberta Career Prep Consortium, founders of the popular Tech Prep program and credential) will be incorporated as a not for profit society and governed by a nine member board of directors. The board will be comprised of accomplished leaders drawn from the following constituencies: business and industry, community organizations, education, government, national & international career organizations.
All ACE members will be provided with the opportunity to participate on the Alberta Career Education Network Advisory Council. The Council, comprised of individuals from across the province and representing a wide array of diverse organizations, will be practitioner focused. Council dialogue and work will be organized for the benefit of participants and the audiences they serve.
ACE Network Services
ACE Network services were created to meet the changing needs of Alberta and Albertans. ACE Network’s communication and collaboration framework is designed for sharing information and optimizing resources as we work together to find new and innovative ways to better manage life, learning and work in the future Alberta.
Member benefits in the new society will include: open access to the clearinghouse of career education resources and directories; specially rated fees to learning events and conferences; access to member’s only section of website that provides select publications and resources at reduced or no cost to user; delivery of print and electronic newsletters and newsflashes; access to research and reports; opportunities to participate in province-wide career education initiatives, including accreditation and credential reviews.
